These are two photographs I took of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Lancaster PA474 flew at treetop height over Skellingthorpe Village where the 50/61 Squadron Memorial service took place. The Veterans had paraded past the earlier service with heads held high. The look on their faces when the Lancaster flew over is something I will always remember. It was a truly moving day.
